Joey's Carpet Care has been serving Central Kentucky since 1980. The first company in Kentucky to be certified by the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC). Joeys has consistently been on the leading edge of cleaning and restoration technology. We provide a wide range of expert cleaning services, including residential/commercial carpets, upholstery, tile and grout, wood floor, and area rug cleaning. HVAC Duct and Dryer Vent Cleaning, Soft Wash/Pressure Washing, we also provide odor removal, fiber protection, and 24-hour emergency water removal and structural drying services.

History About Us

Our Owners

Joey Pickett

A native to Lexington, Joey established Joey's Carpet Care in 1980. Its first truck was a Volkswagen bus with a portable cleaning unit in the back. With the desire to be the best, he became one of the first master certified cleaners in the world. By the late 80’s he became an instructor, teaching certification courses throughout the US and Canada. Still instructing to this day, through Service Consultants, Joey has trained thousands of individuals in the industry.

Ben Pickett

Ben started tagging along on jobs as early as age 5 but received his first professional certification at age 12, and now, 24 years later he takes great pride in being a second generation owner and operator. With Certifications in Carpet, Upholstery, Stone/Tile, and Rug Cleaning as well as Odor Removal and Water Damage restoration, Ben is experienced in all facets of cleaning and restoration.
